Opera By The Lakes 2026
Our 11th Opera by the Lakes is planned for Sunday 15 March 2026 at the stunning Nyerimilang Heritage Park (near Lakes Entrance). Many thanks to those who have already booked tickets.

Performers will be Georgia Wilkinson, Daniel Belle & William Le Brun, with accompanist Simon Loveless.
- Georgia Wilkinson has been performing in East Gippsland since 2014. Through her natural gift and hard work, she won the Herald Sun Aria in 2019. After Covid, she secured the role of Christine in Phantom of the Opera for an international company performing in the major cities of the Middle East and Europe since 2022, most recently in Lausanne Switzerland.
Georgia Wilkinson - website - Daniel Belle is based in Sydney, and has become a sought-after tenor, performing with the Ten Tenors for a number of years, plus playing Jean Valjean in an international production of Les Miserables.
Daniel Belle - Opera Australia - William Le Brun is an Australian vocalist known for blending classic swing, jazz, and contemporary pop. Inspired by icons like Frank Sinatra and modern artists such as the likes of Coldplay, Dua Lipa and more, he brings a fresh energy to his performances. In 2025, he captured national recognition as a Top 6 contestant on Australian Idol, showcasing his unique swing twist on contemporary hits. Following this, he released his debut single, Drowning in a Diamond, and headlined live, sold out shows in Melbourne, establishing a strong presence in the Australian music scene.
William Le Brun - website - We also have our two local sopranos, Maddie Crombie & Maddie Clark, accompanied by the marvellous Julie Lockhart.
- As usual, pre-concert entertainment will be provided by East Gippsland Brass and East Gippsland Symphonia.
